Obituaries

age 93 of Chisago City, Minnesota passed away on July 28, 2010.  She was born on the Linn farm in Lindstrom, Minnesota on August 20, 1916 to parents Joseph and Selma Linn.  She was the youngest of 8 daughters.  She was baptized, confirmed and married at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City, Minnesota which her grandfather Carl (Lena Kaisa) Linn was a charter member.  She never liked missing church and as a child went to church twice on Sunday's, once in Swedish and once in English.  Marian loved music and having people around her and also liked to arrive early for everything.  She had been in all the 50 states and was a baker and liked to bake pies, cookies and krumkake.  She is preceded in death by her husband Carl, her parents and her infant daughter Heidi.  Marian is survived by sons David (Jeremy) & Richard (Linda) and daughter Marilyn Wahlstrom, special adopted daughter Gloria Peterson, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends and the many others that considered her grandmother and great grandmother.
